ImpulseRadar is now looking for a software engineer to expand the office in Umeå. The company conducts intensive product development and has thus managed to take a leading position in GPR (Ground Penetration Radar). They develop innovative products within GPR and drive both hardware and software development in close collaboration with the production department, sales/marketing, and external customers. A central part of their work is to develop software for real-time visualization and analysis of GPR data. We are now looking for a developer who wants to be involved in further developing their solutions and taking them to the next level. Your main focus will be the development of real-time visualization of GPR data in 3D, where both performance and user-friendliness are crucial. More specifically, you will: * Develop software in Flutter and Dart, where performance-critical parts are handled in C * Implement graphics rendering to visualize GPR data in real-time – interactively, powerfully, and user-friendly * Optimize the software for maximum performance and efficiency * Use compute shaders and other techniques to improve performance in signal processing VI SÖKER DIG SOM * Someone who has deep knowledge and experience in C programming and understanding of performance-critical systems * Someone who has experience in modern graphics programming, e.g., Vulkan, Direct3D 12, or similar * Someone who has a good understanding of real-time applications and software optimization for high performance * A person that Is self-motivated, proactive, and a good problem solver, also cooperative and enjoys working in a team * Someone who has good knowledge of English, as much of the work is conducted in English Meritorious: - A college or university degree in a technical field - Experience with Flutter/Dart - Experience in cross-platform development - Knowledge in signal processing - Experience in game engine development - Experience in C#, Java, or Android development - Fluent Swedish in speech and writing - A driver’s license, as travel is required in the position Our recruitment process This recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our client’s wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.
