Saint-Gobain Construction Materials in the Nordics & Baltics is on an exciting transformation journey, aiming to better harness our collective potential to make a greater impact as both a material supplier and a knowledge partner in construction. Saint-Gobain Nordic is strengthening its IT operations department to meet increasing demands related to infrastructure management and development. Saint-Gobain has modernized and relocated parts of its infrastructure to central data centers. At the same time, Saint-Gobain has a strong focus on digitalization and renewal, where a hybrid operation model of on-site and cloud solutions will define the future IT landscape. This position will be part of our On-Site Technical Services (OTS) department, which consists of seven employees with extensive experience in IT/OT operations, infrastructure. The department is responsible for all on-site infrastructure at the company's production sites in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Some tasks require on-site execution, meaning that travel is necessary, though the main workplace will be Saint-Gobain Sweden AB, Norra Malmvägen 76, 191 24 Sollentuna or Billesholm The role covers a combination of client and infrastructure tasks. Responsibilities range from troubleshooting and configuring workstations, maintaining IT equipment along production lines, and executing large-scale upgrade projects related to network and server infrastructure. We are looking for candidates who can cover several of these areas. Experience from Industrial infrastructure is a must and experience with HP Aruba and VMware is an advantage. Responsibilities and Duties: • Operation, maintenance, and development of network infrastructure • Operation, maintenance, and development of server infrastructure and data rooms • Project management and project work • Industrial workstation management/security • Print and print servers • Active Directory • Participate in cross team and regional services.3rd line support • Backup (CoomVault / Cohesity) • Operation and maintenance of IT/OT equipment along production lines • Various degrees of vendor management • Acting as a bridge between IT and Automation Preferred Qualifications and Personal Attributes: • Broad infrastructure expertise and hands-on operations experience • User, customer, and client-oriented approach • Strong technical and architectural understanding • Process and solution-oriented, with good business acumen • Team player, with strong collaboration skills • Friendly and skilled at building relationships • Proactive, self-driven, and forward-thinking • Good written and spoken technical English Desired Experience and Education: • 3-5 years of experience as an IT operations technician/consultant with assigned responsibilities • Preferably an engineering, technical/polytechnic degree, or • Relevant experience and strong references can compensate for a lack of formal education Application Deadline: 30 marts 2025 What We Offer: You will become part of Saint-Gobain—one of the world’s leading industrial corporations. • Work for a sustainable future: We are dedicated to the environment and fully committed to achieving carbon neutrality.
