MWM is responsible for the recruitment process for its sister company, Protecmedia, based in Madrid. The job is remote but you have the possibility to work from office in both Madrid and Stockholm if desired.


Protecmedia is a leading company specializing in innovative software solutions for the media industry. With decades of experience, they provide cutting-edge tools that help publishers optimize their workflow, improve content management, and enhance audience engagement.


We are looking for an energetic and result-driven Sales Manager, who has previous experience in publishing or newspaper production industry, as well as in software development. An ideal candidate should have a proficient level of English and be willing to travel across Europe.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the publishing sector.
  • Hunter mode: focusing only on new clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized solutions for clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Prospect and qualify leads through research, networking, and cold calling.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and negotiate contracts.
  • Close deals and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries promptly.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling.

Requirements:

· 4-5 in B2B sales with a successful previous track-record of hitting sales targets

· Knowledge of publishing and newspaper software is highly desirable

· Hands-on experience working in software solutions for publishing industry is a plus

· The ideal candidate should thrive in a proactive, new sales-focused environment

· Proficient level of English and German is a must. Knowing some Spanish I also meritorious.

· Willingness to travel across Europe

· Team-player who is able to work in a collaborative environment
