Join Sellpy, an innovative leader in sustainable e-commerce, as our Junior Financial Controller.

We're looking for an exceptional finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment who wants to grow with us!

You will be part of our Finance team in the Stockholm office and you will be managing a wide array of financial tasks, from performing book closing activities to ensuring accurate payments primarily for Sellpy’s German entity. You will work continuously with optimising our financial processes to make sure Sellpy’s financial results are delivered with high quality to stakeholders on time. We are thrilled to see you grow in this role and become a valuable part of the Finance team at Sellpy.

In short, you will

• Perform book closing activities including general ledger entries, depreciations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage day-to-day processes such as accounts payable.
• Assist in preparing reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse monthly results and create periodical entries.
• Develop and improve financial processes.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-1 years of experience working with accounting or similar.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, as well as working proficiency in German.
• An analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and a continuous drive to improve processes.

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Fluency in German
