BabySam, Denmark’s leading baby and children’s retailer, is expanding in Sweden. We are looking for an energetic and commercially driven Marketing Manager with experience from the Swedish retail sector, eager to step up and make their mark.

About BabySamBabySam A/S is Denmark’s market-leading baby and children’s retailer, renowned for offering high-quality baby equipment, clothing, toys, and accessories. Following the acquisition of a Swedish baby equipment retail chain, we aim to become market leaders in Sweden within the next 3–5 years.

The RoleAs Marketing Manager for Sweden, you will be responsible for driving footfall to our stores, building local brand awareness, and creating a strong connection with Swedish customers. Reporting to the Nordic Head of Marketing, you will develop and execute impactful marketing strategies to support our retail stores and omnichannel business.

This role requires someone hands-on, ambitious, and highly visible – you will engage directly with stores, attend in-store events, and collaborate closely with local teams to ensure campaigns resonate with Swedish consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive footfall to stores through impactful trade marketing and local campaigns that build customer loyalty and engagement.
  • Develop and execute an ambitious trade and campaign plan for the Swedish market, aligning with Nordic strategies but tailored to local market needs.
  • Collaborate closely with store teams to activate marketing initiatives and in-store promotions, support local events, and ensure exceptional campaign execution.
  • Managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (social media, email, SEO, Google Ads, etc.) to drive traffic and sales.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Act as a hands-on marketing partner for Swedish retail leadership and ensure clear communication of marketing plans and results.
  • Regular travel within Sweden to support stores and strengthen the local presence.

What You Bring:

  • Retail marketing experience from a Swedish retail chain – this is a must.
  • A proven track record of driving footfall, executing trade campaigns, and building local brand visibility.
  • Energy and ambition – you might currently be a number two but are ready for a step up in responsibility and impact.
  • Strong project management skills and a hands-on approach to activating local campaigns and events.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with store teams and leadership.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Sweden to engage with stores and customers directly.
  • Fluency in Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
