We serve our customers with SIKA products in established applications such as metallurgy, refractories and abrasives. Moreover we have also successfully launched new products for emerging applications in the field of electronics, photovoltaics, passive armor and energy-efficient or emissions-control technologies.
We are seeking an experienced electrical/automation engineer/technician with project management experience. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of electrical investment projects within the company.
The position entails maintaining and further developing the factory's electrical installations and production systems in line with market needs, opportunities, and electrical regulations. Additionally, you will serve as a resource for systems such as AutoCad and FebDok.
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all work is performed according to the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and objectives. You must prioritize 5S and HSE in your daily work and ensure the highest possible safety regarding personnel and property. The role also involves managing subcontracted electrical personnel with close follow-up of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and work permits.
We are looking for someone who is independent, precise, and flexible.
The working hours are during the day and will be at both locations in Lillesand and Arendal as needed. As an electrical project manager, you will also be part of the electrical maintenance on-call duty system.
Qualifications
. Electrical engineer (Master, Bachelor, Technical Vocational School). Relevant work experience and skills, preferably from the industry, can compensate for a lack of formal education.
. Relevant vocational certification, such as electrical engineering (Group A, B), energy technician, electrician, or other documented electrical education is desirable.
. Strong IT skills, preferably with experience in FebDok and AutoCAD.
. Relevant project management experience is an advantage.
. Ability to take initiative and work structured to solve various challenges.
. Experience with process measurement equipment and production equipment is desirable.
. Focus on health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices.
. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in a Scandinavian language
