We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled operators to join our Crane and Logistics team. As a Crane and Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of cranes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safe transport of our equipment and materials so that our production lines operate optimally.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of cranes according to load charts and lifting plans.
- Lift, load, unload, and transport equipment and materials.
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure good working conditions.
- Take responsibility to contribute to a safe work environment by actively participating in the development and upkeep of process control and safety practices as well a robust safety culture.
- Assist team members with daily operations and participate in rotation of work duties in order to develop competence within the shift team.
- Together with the rest of the team, maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
- You will have the freedom to make decisions and to be proactive in finding solutions.
Qualifications
- Relevant vocational qualification or equivalent operational experience.
- Experience of developing work methods and manuals.
- Driving license B
- Certificates: Forklift, Crane certificate
- Knowledge of general and logistics safety guidelines in Sweden.
- Good English skills: basic Swedish skills are a plus.
Experience
- Experience as a Crane or Logistics Operator or similar role in construction or heavy industry.
- Experience of operating cranes and lifting equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of operational processes and tools relating to the crane and logistics.
- Documented qualifications in workplace safety (e.g. OSHA, Confined Space, Working at Heights).
- Experienced in identifying, handling, and managing scrap materials efficiently.
