About the Role:

As a Head of Product & Development Excellence, you will be part of the Product & Development management team and lead the cross-functional team that makes the rest of us excel! You will lead cross-functional efforts and optimize the Product & Development function by overseeing program management, driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance, aligning through OKRs, managing risks, fostering knowledge sharing, maintaining robust documentation, leveraging effective tools, and serving the Product & Development organization with critical data.

By fostering a culture of collaboration within Product & Development and other Tech and Development functions, the team enables operations to scale and work efficiently, transparently, autonomously, and effectively



In this role, you will:


  • Program and Project Management
  • Oversee the project office within the Product & Development organization. Lead and develop the Program Management team. Continuously improve and implement the TD Project Model. Monitor and communicate project and program progress to ensure customer value, timeliness, scope, and budget adherence. Lead the Launch & Release Coordination Forum and maintain an up-to-date launch calendar. Remove barriers to team empowerment.
  • Product & Development Excellence
  • Drive operational excellence and transformational improvements in structure, processes, tools, and ways of working. Optimize key processes such as Design & Development, Verification & Validation, and Launch & Release.
  • Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to standards such as FDA, ISO 9001/13485, and medical app standards. Support successful audits and compliance processes.
  • OKRs and Organizational Alignment
  • Establish and continuously improve the OKR framework aligned with strategic objectives. Guide leaders and teams in setting, understanding, and integrating OKRs seamlessly into daily processes.
  • Risk Management
  • Manage business risks within Product & Development, ensuring alignment with company-level risk frameworks. Clearly define, communicate, and follow up on risks.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Reporting
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing. Provide regular updates and automate reporting for transparency and accessibility.
  • Documentation and Tools
  • Maintain clear documentation structures compliant with QMS, MDR, and FDA requirements. Promote effective tool usage and explore new technologies like AI-powered tools.
  • Product Operations and Data
  • Organize and clean data to enhance the efficiency of the P&D function. Drive data-centric processes to improve learning and reduce waste while serving cross-functional needs.


What We're Looking For:

We are looking for someone that has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.


  • 10+ years in program management, process management, and quality assurance.


  • 3+ years of managerial experience.


  • 3+ years in regulatory environments (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.).


  • Proven track record of leading cross-departmental projects.


  • Experience with scaled agile frameworks and combining hardware/software development (preferred).


  • Global/international experience and working with ISO auditors (preferred).


  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification required.


  • Proficient in MS Office 365 and project management/collaboration software.


  • Strong analytical, structured, and communication skills.


  • Ability to drive change, manage stakeholders, and inspire teams.
