Jeppesen Gothenburg is seeking an Operations Coordinator based in Gothenburg, reporting to the Operations Manager. As the selected candidate, you will successfully manage, for Crew and Fleet products, multiple engagements to customize and maintain in-production customer software solutions through effective operational planning and tracking. Some Travel is required.
Position Responsibilities:
• Coordination of developer team activities required to deliver customer commitments.
• Schedule Management: Create and maintain a schedule for each engagement by identifying and monitoring overall timelines, milestones, tasks, and deliverables.
• Resource Management: Ensure assigned engagements are adequately staffed and engage with operations manager to address gaps.
• Cross Functional Leadership: Understand services contractual commitments and co-ordinate deliverable activities across multiple stake holder groups, such as team leads, department managers and the support organization.
• Issue / Risk Management: Anticipates and identifies risks and issues that may affect deliverables or customer commitments. Develops and implements mitigation and corrective actions.
• Communication: Compile and deliver operational status reports to stakeholders on an ongoing basis. This includes status tracking and communication of established KPIs.
• Change Management: Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to ensure scope is managed and additional work is captured and appropriately billed to customer.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years of operations or project management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience applying Scrum and Agile principles to improve operational deliveries.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous software development engagements.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong business acumen and relationship skills needed to build partnerships with stakeholders.
• Aviation industry expertise, ideally around crew management solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project; Primavera experience a plus.
• Multilingualism is an asset, particularly German.
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 2-3 days a week. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
