Are you interested in working at Skellefteå municipality but have limited knowledge in the Swedish language? We offer a unique opportunity to combine language education with practical work experience over a 9-month period. You will get Swedish lessons designed to equip you with the language skills necessary for future employment. Along with your language training you will also get hands-on experience, allowing you to apply your newly acquired language skills in a real-world professional environment. The work will be performed in one of our core services such as healthcare and social care or cleaning and property maintenance. ARBETSUPPGIFTER The work tasks will vary depending on the area you work in. For example, within healthcare and social care you support individuals with practical tasks and personal care. In cleaning and property maintenance you work with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's properties. KVALIFIKATIONER We are looking for candidates who: Have little or no prior knowledge in the Swedish language and has a good basic knowledge in the English language. You are highly motivated to learn the language and integrate into the Swedish job market. The work may be physically demanding so you need to have good physical capabilities. For some of the work tasks a drivers license for a car is required.  A requirement is that you are located in Skellefteå during the employment period.  We offer:  • A 9-month fixed-term employment contract with a monthly salary of 20 200 SEK.  • A combined program of language training and work placement.  • Continuous support and guidance throughout the duration of the employment period.
