Your opportunity:
As an Application Manager at Boliden, you will lead and coordinate the work to maintain the company's applications. You will work closely with other members of the IT service team, business departments that use the applications, and external vendors to resolve current issues and drive system improvements forward. You will ensure that the applications you are responsible for support the business needs, are user-friendly, cost-effective to maintain, have high IT security, and that operations and development align with Boliden IT strategy. Your role also involves participating in relevant projects related to your applications. The position is a temporary assignment for the year 2025, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent role.

You will collaborate with many people within Boliden and beyond. This role requires the ability to cooperate and find solutions in both simple and difficult situations. Parts of the work can be done by a vendor, but it is your responsibility to manage the collaboration and ensure that the vendor meets set expectations. We help each other out. It's a great team!
