The opportunity
The Project Management Office (PMO) at HVDC is looking for a PMO Manager to join the team.
In this role, you will be a key player in driving excellence and structure of HVDC projects around the world.
You will have the opportunity to be part of the center of competence and providing expertise, support, and control for our EPC projects and to secure success over their multi-year lifecycle.

How you’ll make an impact
- Provide specialist knowledge in project management and project execution of EPC projects to support various stakeholders.
- Drive and coordinate monthly project reviews to ensure project processes are correctly followed, oversee risk management and internal control processes.
- Providing training and mentoring to project teams
- Take responsibility for following industry standards and collect lessons learned to develop and improve project templates, checklists, and processes.
- Monitor and present consolidated status and risk profile of project portfolios and take necessary actions to ensure projects follows the plan.
Your background
- Experience from project management of large EPC projects.
- Knowledge of industry standards ISO21500 and PMI/PMBOK.
- University degree in Engineering, or another field relevant to the role.
- Great communication skills in English are required, both written and spoken, to enable global interaction with a wide variety of stakeholders on different seniority levels.
- You are used to handling large sets of data with an analytical approach.
- You are a driven person who enjoys continuously improving processes and leading projects to successful completion.
