Your Team
You will join a team comprised of six engineers, all dedicated to the field of water chemistry, water treatment and hydrometallurgy. This role entails collaborative efforts not only within your team but also with colleagues across Boliden and various external partners. The workplace environment is enriched by a diversity of nationalities. As a member of the process technology department, you will be integrated into a group of 25 professional engineers who are committed to their field.
Your Tasks:
You will work on assignments in the field of water management, water chemistry and water treatment processes. You will investigate new concepts for water treatment plants, as well as working with existing water treatment plants and their optimization. Constantly working towards existing and future requirements set for water quality.
Project Management for Water treatment. Oversee entire projects and manage the tasks assigned to you and our team. This role may involve collaboration with external consultants and various departments within Boliden.
You will support the operational force that works with water treatment, and the development of that business,
In the domain of research, you are committed to exploring future technologies with a keen eye on the ever-changing landscape within the area.
You will run your own trials and tests within water treatment through our own pilot plant and lab facilities as well as collaborating with external partners and their technologies.
Environmental Permit Processes - The team is responsible for preparing the necessary documentation and groundwork around water treatment, that Boliden utilizes in various processes and investigations.
Your Contribution:
Requirements:
Engineering degree (“Civilingenjör” or Master) with a chemical orientation (water treatment, chemical engineer-) or a similar field).
Good cooperation skills
Ability to lead and organize
Ability to work independently and structured
Oral and written proficiency in English, oral and written skills in Swedish is an advantage
Valid driver’s license (class B).

This position is located in Boliden (Skellefteå) with a possibility of working from another location depending on circumstances. The start date of this position takes place over an agreement.
