Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in cybersecurity and automotive infotainment systems to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Identify potential threats and assess their impact on vehicle security.
- Conduct security analyses and exploit vulnerabilities to strengthen overall system security.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot communication systems within vehicles using protocols like CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
- Assess the security of in-car communication buses and identify potential attack vectors.
- Evaluate multimedia interfaces, entertainment systems, and communication interfaces for vulnerabilities.
- Perform reverse engineering and analyze firmware running on automotive ECUs to identify and exploit vulnerabilities.
- Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies for automotive systems.
What you bring:
- In-depth knowledge of automotive communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and specifications, such as ISO 21434.
- Expertise in security mechanisms and vulnerabilities associated with ECUs, infotainment systems, and advanced driver-assistance systems.
- Knowledge of secure boot processes, firmware update mechanisms, and securing in-vehicle networks.
- Proficiency in identifying vulnerabilities in ECU firmware and exploiting them to enhance system security.
- Experience with diagnostic and testing tools used in the automotive industry.
- Strong analytical skills to assess in-car communication buses and identify potential attack vectors.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for advancing cybersecurity in the automotive domain.
