Job Summary
As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will work for the credit department and report to the Credit & Collection Manager. The credit department is responsible for the credit underwriting and credit risk management within Scania Finans. Currently, the credit department consists of five credit analysts. The position is based at Scania Finans head office in Södertälje, we support workplace flexibility to maximize personal productivity and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibility will be to work in the daily credit underwriting process, making credit decisions for new and existing customers to Scania Finans. The role of a Junior Credit Analyst includes the following main tasks:
· Underwrite new credit applications and modify existing credit applications within delegated credit mandate.
· Analyze and present credit proposals for decisions by senior credit analysts and credit committees.
· Meet customers, Scania dealers and branch offices to keep up-to-date about customers and the transport business.
· Continuously contribute to the development of processes, systems and models that support the credit underwriting process.
Your profile
To succeed in this position, you are really good team player and we see that you are a structured person with an analytical mindset and strong numerical skills. You have strong personal integrity and well-developed interpersonal skills. Moreover, you have/are:
· University degree in business, economics or relevant work experience.
· Strong knowledge of the Office application suite, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
· Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.
· Very good communication skills in speech and writing.
· Familiar with Power BI.
· Experience of using AI in work related tasks.
· Working experience with making credit decisions or within financial services sector or related areas is meritorious.
· Experience of analyzing financial statements is meritorious.
