Role Summary
We are looking for a gear designer for electrified and conventional powertrain specifications. The position includes the challenges in optimizing gear design and drivetrain specifications based on operational factors and vehicle input data variables.
This Is Us
We are a team with lots of different responsibilities, cultures and diversity. We have the design responsibility for gearbox and PTO gears, hub reductions, engine transmission, differentials, and splines.
We work both from our team, and within the flow agile landscape (VCT), in a local and global context with colleaugues within the Scania and TRATON organization.
Who You Are
You are structured, take initiatives and require coordinating abilities to be able to work in close cooperation with our neighbouring design teams, purchasing department, manufacturing and production. Besides from a foundation within gear design, it would be a plus if you also have design knowledge in bevel gears and hypoid gears.
