About the RoleAs a specialist in driveline systems, you will have an important role in global projects.
Your job will be to ensure everything runs smoothly in your area of responsibility.
You will also help improve our projects and develop new solutions for the future.
Your work will focus on different parts of the electrical driveline system, such as electric motors, brakes, transformers, medium- and low-voltage switchgears, drive systems, reactive power control, measuring devices, and control and protection equipment.
Your main tasks will include:
- Helping design engineers with the system design for driveline systems.
- Choosing driveline components based on performance needs and ensuring the designs meet project requirements.
- Giving technical advice during design, testing, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure projects follow standards and requirements.
- Supporting the sales team, project teams, and customers with technical questions, both in the office and on-site if needed.
You will work closely with customers, suppliers, partners, and colleagues.
Sharing knowledge and best practices with other engineers will also be a big part of your role.
If you are interested, you can also take on the role of Electrical Safety Champion, helping the team with electrical safety questions.
Qualifications
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- 3–5 years of experience in areas like electrical system design, maintenance, commissioning, or product development.
- Knowledge of electric motors and at least one related area, like motor brakes, switchgears, transformers, cables, measuring devices, protection devices, or AC drives.
- Understanding of electrical safety rules and experience in putting them into practice (needed for the role as Electrical Safety Champion).
- Extra skills like knowledge of control theory, PLC systems, or experience with control cabinet design are a bonus.
- A team player who is motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.
- Good communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English is required.
