Job Description

Do you want to become our next Penetration Tester and work internationally on securing our IT landscape?

IT Security is continuously increasing in its importance at Vattenfall. Our highly secured assets spread over different European countries, the fast-evolving digitalization, cyber threats and local security regulations makes our work both challenging and interesting.

Your responsibilities

As a penetration tester you will work in an international team of experts in IT security. Our team is specialized in threat intelligence and offensive security operations. As a penetration tester your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Plan and execute penetration testing of internal and external system to identify security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Participate in the planning and execution of red teaming engagements aimed at emulating advanced threats to test the organizations defensive capabilities.
• Collaborate on purple teaming exercises with blue teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Provide structured high quality reports that delivers actionable remediations and recommendations to improve security.
• Contribute to custom tooling development, documentation of procedures and improvement of offensive security processes.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious person who is not afraid of asking critical questions and that constantly strives for improvement. On top of that you will bring:

• Minimum 2 years of experience conducting penetration testing.
