Our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) business area provides comprehensive support for all aspects of blood, cell and tissue management, with 180 blood centres across 5 countries utilising the platform.
As our Integration Specialist you will be working as part of a team to develop, maintain and implement a variety of integrations based on customer needs and expectations.
You will be a key person in improving our way of working with integrations within the LIMS domain, and you will also work in close collaboration with our operation- and development organisation.

As our Integration Specialist you will:
- Participate in analysis, design, developing, testing, and documentation of complex data conversion and integration solutions.
- Provide support and maintenance on existing integrations.
- Conduct high-level root-cause analysis for service interruption and establish preventive measures.
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements and address inquiries.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Your matching strengths for our role:
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in IT; preferably as a system developer or integration specialist.
- Proficiency in software development with a focus on Java or JavaScript.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and in one of the Scandinavian languages (Swedish, Danish or Norwegian)
- Experience working in Widows and/or Linux environments.
- Experience from working with Mirth Connect or other relevant integration engines.
- Flexible and able to handle none planned tasks.
- Familiar with customer-facing and internal communication.
Would be great, but not mandatory, if you have:
- You have a great sense of accuracy, responsibility, and respect towards the important domain you are work in.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and SQL script.
- Experience from working in Scrum/Agile project environments.
- Experience with Unit/Integration testing.
- Basic knowledge in serology, blood systems and laboratory systems (ProSang).
- Familiarity with medical protocols such as HL7, ASTM, and XML.
- Basic understanding of JSON.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) principles.
- You are communicative and familiar with speaking to customers, both in IT departments and healthcare businesses.
