We are looking for a replacemtn for our current IT star for support to all students and staff!  Internationella Engelska Skolan is one of the largest independent school organizations in Sweden, with forty-three schools across the country. Internationella Engelska Skolan Huddinge has 640 students in grades 6-9. The school is bilingual, with instruction in both Swedish and English, and you will be part of a very strong adminstration team. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, Stockholm, an area undergoing significant development. We are dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for our students, and technology plays a crucial role in achieving that goal. We are seeking an IT School Support Specialist to help maintain and support the technology infrastructure that drives our academic environment. As part of our Adminstrative team, you will work closely with teachers, students, and staff to ensure seamless integration and operation of all IT systems within the school.  The main responsibilities involve local: - Provide technical support for faculty, staff, and students in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues - Manage and maintain classroom technology, including computers, projectors, and other educational tools. - Set up and configure computers, mobile devices, and software for classrooms, labs, and administrative offices. - Support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of school network systems, including Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and security protocols. - Assist in managing school-wide software and educational platforms used by students and teachers. - Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate technology into the curriculum and resolve technical challenges in the classroom. - Assist in the setup and operation of IT systems during school events, tests, and other special activities. All our IT services are provided by external drift partners who you will be in close contact with for support and maintenance. Our main platform is Google Workspace for Education (formerly known as Google Apps). Requirements: - Proven experience in IT support, preferably in an educational setting. - Experience in Chrome OS, Windows and Google admin.  - Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, networking, and educational technologies. - Familiarity with educational platforms, online learning tools, and classroom technologies. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users. - Ability to troubleshoot, resolve problems quickly, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Patience and a strong customer service orientation when working with students and staff.
