How you will make an impact:

You will lead a team of professionals in our cotton and pulp preparation, a crucial part of the bank note paper making process. Your team will respond to your ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve our daily goals related to safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

Our external customers look to you and your team to build the products that their economies need. Colleagues will benefit from your structured and goal-oriented way of working. You will report to the Managing Director and be instrumental in developing and driving strategic plans for the department.

Other responsibilities:

· Achieve long- and short-term goals according to Business plan and budget goals for the department.

· Department responsibility for a Supervisor, Production Engineer, Process Engineer and 27 operators.

· Ensure that deviations related to Safety, Quality, delivery, cost and growth are managed within the department.

· Ensure collaboration with other departments to achieve Pulp and Cotton Production goals.

· Delegate work environment task responsibilities and manage systematic work environment processes to maintain a safe and productive workplace.

· Ensure an effective Organizational Structure, continuously develop employees in accordance with current regulations, providing training and growth opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • Master of science in engineering or chemistry or commensurate experience.
  • 10 years’ experience working in the process/paper industry.
  • 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position or as a manager
  • Very good written and spoken knowledge of the English and Swedish language.
  • Good computer skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with lean and continuous improvement.
  • Results-driven and organized: Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving goals and maintaining a systematic approach to tasks.
  • Strong prioritization skills: Effectively identifies and concentrates on the most critical tasks to ensure optimal productivity.
  • Experience with multi-year strategic planning: Skilled in developing and executing long-term plans to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Excellent leadership and direction: Provides clear guidance and inspires teams to perform at their best

Your role is in Tumba, Stockholm, located in the historic Tumba Bruk area, 10 - minute walking distance from the train station, 30 km south of Stockholm, and about 20 minutes from Stockholm Central Station. Tumba is a small suburb in an area with different cultures from all corners of the world. The area offers a beautiful landscape and countryside feeling.
