Let's introduce ourselves Welcome to Volvo Cars Connected Experience (ConX), where we lead the development of next-generation solutions for Infotainment, connectivity, and data-driven decision-making. Within the dynamic environment of eART Solution Integration and Release, we enable data-driven insights by building robust pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and delivering high-quality visualizations and analytics. Currently, we are seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable data systems that empower teams across Connected Experience.  At ConX, we leverage a cutting-edge data ecosystem to unlock the power of insights. Our tech stack includes: * Data Warehousing & ELT: Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow * Real-Time Streaming: Kafka, AWS Kinesis, Flink * Visualization & Reporting: Power BI, Grafana * Databases: SQL, NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) * Languages: Python, SQL * Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure Our tools and services ensure seamless data integration, quality, and accessibility, enabling teams to innovate and deliver value across our ecosystem. Your Responsibilities As a Data Engineer, your role will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality data solutions: Data Pipeline Development & Maintenance  Design, develop, and optimize scalable ELT pipelines to process and integrate data from diverse sources. * Implement robust workflows for transforming and validating large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Data Architecture & Storage  Develop and maintain scalable data models and schemas in Snowflake or similar platforms. * Ensure data systems are efficient, secure, and optimized for performance and accessibility. Real-Time Data Streaming  Work with streaming frameworks like Kafka or AWS Kinesis to process and analyze real-time data streams. * Enable real-time insights by integrating live data into analytics platforms. Visualization & Insights  Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Grafana, or similar tools. * Translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders across Connected Experience. Collaboration & Innovation  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions. * Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and efficiency in data workflows. Data Governance & Quality  Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and governance frameworks. * Implement automated testing and monitoring solutions for data pipelines and systems. You Bring: * Proven experience in data engineering, with expertise in ELT pipelines and cloud-based data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake). * Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data integration tools such as dbt or Apache Airflow. * Hands-on experience with real-time data streaming tools like Kafka or AWS Kinesis. * Strong background in building data visualization solutions with tools like Power BI and Grafana. * Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
