These teams work on numerous deliverables developed through advanced engineering and research projects. We operate in an agile framework (SAFe) with 12-week program increments. The teams are part of the Base Technology Solutions (BTS) Agile Release Train, forming the foundation for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system.
The ComWired Technologies (HW) team focuses on various wired communication technologies such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, LVDS, A2B, PCIe, USB, and more. Team members are responsible for designing and verifying these technologies through requirements, simulations, measurements, and proofs of concept from both hardware and software perspectives. We collaborate closely with other teams and suppliers to ensure the technologies meet Volvo Cars' requirements.
