One of our automotive clients is looking for a CAE engineer within the Durability area. Focus of the assignment is on CAE analyses related to brake analysis and casted components. Location: Gothenburg, onsite. QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar Several years of experience from fatigue, durability and brake analysis Experience from the automotive industry and cast components Good knowledge in pre- and post-processing SWs like Beta CAE or Abaqus CAE. Good knowledge in solvers like, Abaqus, Nastran or nCode DesignLife Good knowledge in programming using Phyton Good knowledge in English, both written and spoken is essential Knowledge and experience from SWs like Tosca, ModeFrontier and MagmaSoft are an advantage Valid EU work permit making you able to start right away AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY Deliver quality assured calculation models and results and propose where/when to perform specific simulation and analysis Draw conclusions and make recommendations Perform analyses and deliver validated results with respect to design targets Support continuous improvement of methods and tools Act as technical expert for his/her discipline Plan, lead and perform high complex simulations/analyses Take responsibility for the fidelity of the simulations/analyses Support project and design engineers in all stages of projects for technical solutions on varied complex level INTERESTED?
