About the Role: As a Junior Software Engineer, you will work on HVDC projects, responsible for both system documentation and software testing. Your responsibilities include: • Documentation: In the early phases of projects, you will assist in creating and managing project documentation, including initial specifications. • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure all parts of the project align smoothly. • System and Cubicle Testing: Perform software testing in a factory environment and later upload programs to control systems. • Mentorship and Training: As a new hire, you will receive extensive training and a dedicated mentor during your first year, offering support and guidance through hands-on learning. You will also have opportunities to engage in practical testing, both at our facilities and on customer sites. Assignments may range from one week to several months depending on project needs, such as detailed testing or power outages. While you’ll receive strong team support, you’re encouraged to take ownership and responsibility for your tasks and projects.
