Supply Chain Development (SCD) is one of the business units at IKEA Supply and we are on an exciting journey! By gathering the end-to-end supply chain development and innovation agenda into one organization, embedding management and development of processes and digital solutions into the business, we will meet the future with the right competences and business capabilities.

In Supply Chain Planning Development, the area that this position will work in, we manage and develop supply chain planning capabilities across the needed time horizons and granularity, through people, processes, data & technology. Our mission is to create the prerequisites for excellence in operations by enabling efficient and effective decision-making resulting in integrated end-to-end executable plans.

We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Process Developer who thrives on driving business improvements and achieving results. This role is crucial in promoting process-oriented business development and ensuring our operations align with IKEA's vision and core values. While Process Developer is your core competence, you will have the opportunity to contribute in different fields of development based on business needs. This gives you the ability to grow and learn in different domains and skills. Join us on our mission to streamline processes and enhance productivity working in an agile set up in one of our Digital Product teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver as part of a digital product team with set priorities.
  • Promote and support a process-oriented mindset in close collaboration with business partners.
  • Improve, develop, and maintain process documentation according to defined framework (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, measurement specifications, learning material, etc.).
  • Develop, and maintain process/sub-process design and propose improvements.
  • Gather, understand, and analyze the business benefits of identified process improvement potentials.
  • Facilitate the way of working with process-oriented business development.
  • Lead, manage, and/or support process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with related functions for holistic business solutions.
  • Ensure consistency among interconnected processes
  • Participate in external networks for benchmarking and enhancing knowledge.

  • Strong problem-solving skills: capable of handling complexity and seeing both the big picture and the details. Experience in process development and improvement methods

Knowledge of IKEA’s business model, value chain, and deeper knowledge in specific processes, in Plan Supply Chain, is an advantage.

This position is based in Älmhult, Sweden and this is a permanent position.
