About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Sweden.
You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, process, file, and monitor monthly payroll information.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement off-cycle payroll processing and reporting.
- Maintain accurate and concise payroll records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Respond to payroll inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor changes in legislation and tax rules and collaborate with the payroll team to implement necessary changes.
- Partner with external payroll vendors and government institutions for social security administration, pensions, etc.
- Adhere to strict data protection standards when handling confidential information.
- Assist with global payroll initiatives as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
- Strong understanding of local labor laws and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations in Sweden.
- Proficiency in payroll software (Workday) and global HRIS tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
