Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Automotive Software Architect to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Leading the creation of the next-generation platform for self-driving vehicles, focusing on autonomous development.
- Designing and architecting a platform consisting of multiple sensors and a robust computational framework, ensuring scalability and modularity.
- Developing complex real-time safety-critical systems, ensuring adherence to functional safety and cybersecurity requirements for autonomous vehicles.
- Overseeing the full product lifecycle, from concept through to implementation, ensuring system reliability and safety standards are met.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies into a cohesive platform for self-driving vehicles.
- Driving architectural decisions and best practices to optimize system performance and safety in an agile environment.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform and systems through innovative problem-solving and technical leadership.
What you bring:
- MSc in Computer Science or a similar field, with at least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proven experience as a software architect, particularly in the development of real-time safety-critical systems.
- Strong knowledge of functional safety and modern cybersecurity requirements for autonomous vehicles.
- Extensive experience in the full product lifecycle, including designing and implementing safety-critical systems.
- Experience with automotive electrical systems and embedded systems within vehicles is highly desirable.
- Background in architecting systems for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the heavy vehicle industry.
- Expertise in working within an agile release train, particularly using the SAFE framework.
- Experience in autonomous development, including integration of sensors and computational frameworks for autonomous platforms.
- Fluent in English, with Swedish being a beneficial but not required skill.
