The H&M Foundation is looking for a forward-thinking Project Manager for running the foundations innovation challenge Global Change Award where we are looking for changemakers who can help decarbonize fashion

As a Project Manager, you will lead and contribute to transformative projects, supporting innovation and scaling solutions that address global challenges. You’ll collaborate closely with partners, ensure seamless project execution, and strengthen our role as thought leaders in sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the Global Change Award program together with the Program Director including managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Lead operational work for the Global Change Awards including launching nomination process, screening of incoming nominees and managing stakeholders' involvement and dialogue with winners.
• Collaborate with renowned external strategic partners like KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Accenture, as well as other contributing partners
• Coordinate events, including the Global Change Award summit and co-work on award ceremony with Event lead
• Coordinate the one year long Global Change Award Changemaker program, including planning and execution of the three physical weeks of workshops and events on different locations in the world
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring the learnings are captured and shared.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings both expertise and passion to the table. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have experience managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders.
• Possess a deep understanding of innovation and sustainability, ideally within the fashion industry.
• Excel in problem-solving, adaptability, and communication (written and verbal English). Bring creativity, structure, and an entrepreneurial spirit to every challenge.
• Are a team player who can also work independently to achieve goals.
• Bachelor's or masters degree in relevant field.

This is a temporary full-time position covering for a maternity leave, based in Stockholm and reports to the Head of Innovation, Research and Demonstration. The H&M Foundation launched the Global Change Award – called The Nobel Prize of Fashion – as the first innovation challenge of its kind in 2015. Since then, 46 innovations have received support and a combined grant of 8 million euros from the Global Change Award. And the grant is just one perk of winning the Global Change Award. Our winners each receive €200,000 and are celebrated and awarded at the iconic Stockholm City Hall, the home of the Nobel Prize, where they are also connected to the wider industry. They also enter a yearlong Changemaker Programme provided by the H&M Foundation in collaboration with our strategic partners Accenture and KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
