Bistro1909 is a family owned restaurant in the old town of Alcúdia in Mallorca, Spain. Bistro 1909 is open for lunch and dinner and has a capacity of 44 covers on the terrace and 25 inside. The menu is presenting local ingredients in a global setting. Several classics are side-by-side original Bistro dishes. The kitchen and service team consists of twelve people. We are open from March until November. Bistro1909 has Scandinavian owners and the company language is English.
Seasonal Waiter / Waitress to our bistros
We are looking for seasonal waiters and waitresses to our bistros in the old town of Alcúdia, Mallorca. We are an international team that focuses on collaboration to achieve high quality in a high pace environment. We believe that you are a highly social and talkative person who can function calmly in a stressful environment. You have some experience from restaurant service and you are very interested to learn new things. You are a good sales person. You are now looking for a real challenge and a chance to develop. The waiter is the front person of the bistro and the one who creates the atmosphere. A waiter in Bistro1909 is performing all necessary tasks in a restaurant including bar tending, order taking, serving, cleaning and handling the till.
You understand the value of good service and you truly enjoy giving it at the same time as you manage to create good sales. You enjoy working in a team close to others and you are good at comunication and cooperation. You need to speak good English and it is a plus if you speak Spanish, German or French.
The contract for this employment starts 17 March and finishes for the season 31 October.. The salary
is according to agreement. The company will provide Social Security and insurance according to
Spanish law. If you are in need of housing we will arrange the accomodation for you.
