Your role:
We are looking for a software engineer with deep knowledge in diagnostics and the automotive sector with at least 6 years of experience and who can start at short notice.
You have a good understanding and solid grasp of vehicle systems, including engine control units (ECUs), sensors and communication protocols such as CAN.
You are good at developing algorithms for error detection, data logging and reporting.
- You have deep knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++ and understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- You are used to taking responsibility for testing and validating diagnostic tools and software.
- You have a good understanding of standards such as ISO 26262 (functional safety).
- You are well versed in data analysis tools and techniques that can improve and develop proactive diagnostic solutions.
- You are used to collaborating with cross-functional teams and work closely with hardware engineers, system engineers and product managers.
- You stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies.
- You have good skills in creating intuitive interfaces and ensuring that software provides clear, actionable insights.
Required skills:
- Skilled C++ development in embedded systems.
- Have good knowledge of working in a Linux environment
- Knowledge in CMake or similar tools.
- Knowledge in Python.
- Knowledge in Git/Gerrit.
