Join Our Innovative HVDC Team as a SCM HVDC Process and Continuous Improvement Specialist! Are you ready to enhance your career journey? HVDC Supply Chain is seeking a dedicated Process and Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive our improvement activities within SCM.

We are now looking for an engaging and driven person to join the Supply Chain Management team in HVDC as a Process and Continuous Improvement Specialist. As a Process and Continuous Improvement Specialist, you support the development and the improvements activities in the department in close cooperation with your closest colleagues as well as the global SCM HVDC Digitalization Specialist.

HVDC is a business unit within Hitachi Energy, headquarters in Ludvika, Sweden, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks, and you will get great opportunities for learning and development. How you'll make an impact

  • Support development and implementation of global strategies within HVDC Products and MACH Products Supply Chain Management function.
  • Contribute to development and implementation of processes within the function and make sure our processes are up to date in our Process Management System.
  • Drive and lead initiatives for our Continuous Improvement program.
  • Support colleagues in our way to work more efficiently in our daily work.
  • Drive digitalization within the function.
  • Drive excellence within the function, identifying the best solutions to challenges and driving best practice implementation.
  • Support the function in change management, fostering a culture where change is encouraged and well managed includes supporting improvement initiatives.
  • Establish clear and transparent communication within the function as well as cross-functionally create and maintain the function’s communication strategy.
  • Drive and develop how we can utilize our applications in the most efficient way, such as SAP, SCM tools, Office365, MS Power Apps etc.

Your background

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other relevant area.
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management roles and/or Continuous Improvement roles.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and methods.
  • Experience in designing and documenting processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven formal or informal leader with solid influencing skills.
  • Experience with development of digital tools and knowledge of existing tools on the market.
  • SAP, Office365, MS Power Apps knowledge.
