Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Develop and implement solutions for provisioning, client management, and subscription services based on the SS 12000 standard for secure information exchange in educational processes.
- Design and implement backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring security and compliance with e-ID solutions and federated authentication.
- Work on solutions for file transfers involving student and staff data, adhering to secure practices.
- Participate in regular follow-up meetings with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient development, meeting sprint goals and milestone plans.
- Create necessary documentation for the development work, ensuring clarity and completeness for future maintenance and use.
- Collaborate with software architects and backend developers from both internal and external teams, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, including optimizing build processes with tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
What you bring:
- At least 9 years of experience in system development.
- 5 years of practical, documented experience as a Java backend developer, with a strong background in Spring Boot.
- 4 years of practical experience working with Microservices and OCI Containers (e.g., Docker).
- 3 years of experience with SQL and database management.
- Experience working as a software architect in a role that lasted at least two years.
- 1 year of experience with JWT and SSL/TLS.
- 1 year of experience improving build processes with Jenkins and Maven.
- 1 year of hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) development.
- 1 year of experience working with OpenAPI YAML specifications and API-first development.
- 1 year of practical experience with JMS message queues.
- 1 year of practical experience developing REST APIs with JSON.
- Fluency in spoken and written Swedish.
Highly advantageous if you have:
- Experience with frameworks such as SAML 2.0 and SCIM.
- Experience with event-driven Java frameworks like Vert.
X or Spring Reactive.
- Knowledge of service discovery in microservices.
- Experience with OCI orchestration, preferably Openshift.
- Familiarity with log management tools/systems, such as the ELK stack.
- Experience with database migration tools, such as Liquibase.
