About the position

We are looking for a Software Engineer for our client, a well-known company in the fashion industry. You will be a part of the Product Development & Engineering Search team, and the work takes place on site at their office in central Stockholm.

Your daily tasks

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions that meet project requirements and align with organizational goals. The role involves close collaboration with team members to ensure software functionality, performance, and maintainability.

Key Tasks

• Develop and implement software solutions to achieve project objectives
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices
• Gather and analyze requirements in collaboration with product managers and designers
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality
• Participate in code reviews to enhance code quality and share knowledge
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to propose innovative improvements
• Contribute to technical documentation, including designs and user manuals
• Engage in Agile team activities like sprint planning and estimation

Your characteristics

We are seeking a candidate with strong expertise in Application and Cloud Security best practices and a proven ability to address complex challenges with excellent problem-solving skills. The role requires the ability to create well-structured artifacts and engage effectively with business users to gather requirements, clarify needs, and present solutions clearly. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as is the ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in C#, • NET, Web APIs and Microservices
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL and Cosmos DB
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure in services such as App Service, Functions, Service Bus, AKS, AAD, AppInsights, Application Gateways, Storage accounts etc.
• Strong experience in writing Unit tests, Integration tests with testing frameworks such as MS Test/N-Unit/X-Unit and use of mocking frameworks
• Experience in creating and working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep

Meritorious

• Skills in Machine Learning

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-12-15. Start 2024-12-15.
