Join the Lead Engineering office, be part of the Lead Engineering management team and manage one of the two Lead Engineering department for projects.
In this role, you will lead and guide the members of the team spread across several countries around the world.
The team you will manage is mainly independent individuals with vast experience in the role and in HVDC.

Your Responsibilities
- Providing strategic direction, leadership, and coordination of the function and operational work together with technical specialists.
- Building and developing the team and the individuals in it by managing employee training and development initiatives.
- Taking a proactive approach and actively participate in recruiting activities.
- Planning for project staffing, as well as planning for both short-term and more strategic long-term changes in the team structure.
- Develop, improve, and implement strategic people management initiatives and ensuring processes are in place to capture and share best practices and operational experiences.
- Partnering with and take an active role in the Lead Engineering management team.
Your Background
- Experience as a people manager, or other relevant leadership or management experience, in a similar industry is highly qualifying.
- It is a benefit if you have worked with HVDC technology before.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and management.
- Fluency in English is a must while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

The role can be based in Ludvika or Västerås, but requires frequent presence at our office in Ludvika, with flexibility of hybrid working.
