About us:

Stegra, formerly know as H2 Green Steel,is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

As the Talent Acquisition Manager for Boden, you will play a pivotal role in driving our plans to attract and hire diverse and skilled talent needed to start and run the production at our Boden plant. This is a unique opportunity to be part of building an industrial organization from the ground up, aligning with our purpose to decarbonize hard-to-abate industries and becoming the best company for the planet. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, your TA-team, the full People & Organization (HR) team (and the hiring community, to create and execute tactical and operational plans to meet our quick organizational ramp-up. As a leader at Stegra, you will manage your team through clear goals that you empower them to achieve, enabling development and growth as needed and as the needs in the organization develop, mature and reach “steady state”.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and empower a team of experienced talent acquisition specialists; focusing on instilling a clear sense of ownership and collaboration, deeply aligned with Stegra’s purpose, values, leadership principles, and diversity ambitions.
  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for the needed talent in Boden; mainly focusing on industrial and technical specialist roles, but also supporting with roles in sales, finance, supply chain and similar.
  • Develop and implement talent acquisition tactical plans and processes that support Stegra’s growth in Boden and reflect our commitment to sustainability, diversity and our purpose.
  • Collaborate with department heads, hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand their hiring needs and define hiring and execution plans.
  • Establish effective talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience, from the first point of contact through to onboarding.
  • Be part of developing and utilizing data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment operations and ensure we attract diverse and highly skilled professionals that go on to be successful in the organization.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Stegra, promoting our values and purpose to potential candidates and stakeholders, and living our values in your day-to-day work, instilling trust and collaboration internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership capabilities that enable Talent Acquisitions teams to thrive with a solid sense ownership, drive and impact, in a purpose driven environment.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
  • Advanced understanding of recruitment strategies, trends and best practices, with a proven ability to work with tactical and operational recruitment planning.
  • Well-developed cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to coach, advise, and support common goals across teams in a diverse and fast-paced organization.
  • Strong communication skills with a natural ability to bring clarity to diverse audiences and drive alignment across teams.
  • Fluent in English. Swedish is not a requirement.
