What would you do as our IT Infrastructure Specialist EMEIA
In this role, you will act as our subject matter expert, an all-round IT specialist who will drive the development of our IT governance, security, and systems administration, providing 3rd line IT support to our colleague within the EMEIA region. You will be the member of our new EMEIA IT infrastructure team within ‘Area 1’ that includes Africa, Finland, and Scandinavia. We are looking for someone with a clear vision of what a good and secure IT infrastructure looks like, that wants to drive necessary changes, and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and handle practical IT matters as well.
This is a fixed-term contract. The role will include a small percentage of travelling, as per the business requirements.
You would also:
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives and implement measures to ensure against data-loss
• Replace and drive projects of standardization that aligns with Global goals in governance
• Ensure that everyday user and system administration is running smoothly
• Revise software and infrastructure usage and ensure policies align with the company’s IT strategy
• Take charge of our policies, ensuring we stay up to date with updates, new apps, and their impact on the organization
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has several years of hands-on experience in a similar role, such as IT systems engineer, IT Information Officer or IT Project Manager
• Has experience specifically with Microsoft environments including user groups, roles and security setup, and App administration
• Has knowledge of data-loss policies including data back-up strategies and recovery processes
• Has experience setting up and/or maintaining centralized tools, infrastructure and 21st century best practices
• Is proficient in English, both verbal and written
