About the Unit

Yara is looking for a Technical manager for Köping site. The Köping Plant is a leading Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) producer in Yara. With 2 nitric acid units and 2 TAN plants, our global capacity is 360 kt of TAN used in civil explosives and mining industries. We produce also more than 100 kt of products for water treatment, DeNOx and environmental applications. The Technical organization is managing all project activities at Köping site. The site has about 120 employees and is certified according to ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the project organization
• Execution, coordination, follow-up, and development of project and modifications
• Overall responsible for the yearly turnaround planning and coordination
• Follow up of internal and external standards
• Deliver on business plans to meet set targets
• Initiate, prepare, implement and evaluate improvement projects

The Technical Manager reports directly to Maintenance Manager and has a direct delegation for the project portfolio from Plant Manager. The Technical Manager will be part of the site management team.

Profile

• You have relevant background and preferably a MSc or BSc in Engineering or Chemistry
• You have strong leadership skills and experience from managing teams
• You are a strong communicator, in written as well as verbally, in both English and Swedish.
• Good analytical skills are an asset and you have a "hands-on" attitude.
