Rebtel is looking for a QA Engineer

The role

You will be part of the Rebtel team - a small team, achieving big things. You will support and contribute to our testing strategy for the Frontend applications that are used by millions of our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for frontend applications for both Web and Mobile
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing for our Web and Mobile application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, designers) to define test plans, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
• Ensure test coverage by writing end-to-end tests using frameworks as Cypress, and/or Appium (Webdriver IO).
• Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.
• Analyze and report on test results, providing insights to improve product quality and user experience.
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated tests into the pipeline.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing
• A genuine passion for software quality and testing
• Strong knowledge and experience with automation testing frameworks like: Cypress, Postman, WebdriverIO, and Appium
• Experience with JavaScript / Typescript
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficient in using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points

• Experience with monitoring tools
• Experience with performance testing tools
• Knowledge of cloud providers, specifically Azure and AWS
• Experience with GraphQL and/or REST
