The R&D department at Epiroc Aftermarket has a high customer focus, always willing to help each other and our customers. Your mission
As the aftermarket division continuously increase the innovation and profit ambition level to be able to meet the demands we need to further strengthen our capabilities. We need to be able to support both our existing Customized Engineered Solutions offerings, as well as supporting our customers to improve their productivity offering both upgrades and products lowering the environmental impact. We also need to deliver Live Work Elimination products, both by reusing the existing solutions and develop new products to the market.
In this role you will also continue the collaboration with our sourcing department to make sure we can secure availability and cost of our spare parts by continuously work with reducing cost on parts, as well as analyzing the possibility of using more suppliers for a specific part.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have a natural interest for new areas and new technology. You are customer oriented and can interpret requirements into specifications. You can naturally spot the next steps that needs to be taken and continuously investigate if we are doing the correct things.
As a person you are well organized and have a track record of being self-propelled and driving your own work. We see that you have a university degree in Mechanical engineering or relevant experience from previous positions. You have knowledge in CAD-design and preferably experience from Creo. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
