We’re now looking for a technically skilled Test Engineer with a hands-on approach to working with advanced equipment and testing procedures. In this role, you’ll lead the development, execution, and improvement of test set-ups and procedures for our innovative technology. In this role you need to be comfortable both designing tests and actively engaging with complex equipment in the lab.

Position summary

• Develop test set-ups and procedures for our reactor and connected process equipment.
• Prepare, conduct and document test runs.
• Ensure compliance (safety, regulations, …).
• Mechanical and electrical preparation / improvement of equipment set-up.
• Troubleshooting any challenges and streamlining testing procedures.
• Close collaboration with different departments (e.g. Engineering, Design, Process).
• Root cause analysis for test results.
• PLC programming experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/automation or relevant experience
• Around 3-5 years' experience in testing environment of (chemical) process equipment
• Hands-on experience in an industry environment
• Experience with common Project Management tools.
• Familiarity with control system hardware and software (PLCs, DCS, SCADA) is a plus.
• LabView experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a curious, creative approach to troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• High flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving project needs.
