We are looking for a Test Framework Developer for Hardware in the Loop (Vector Tools).
WHAT's IN IT FOR YOU?
The companys’ development centers around software (SW) and in the next generation vehicles, they take a giant leap into the future by launching a capable centralized compute platform, hosting most of the in-house developed SW. In these next generation vehicles, they are building a computer-in-the-car architecture, a key for enabling innovation within areas such as Vehicle Motion, Advanced Connectivity, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Drive. The mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like DriveOS and NVIDIA’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signaling technologies. This core computer and the corresponding platform will simplify the software/application development to create a safe, reliable, and secure platform for increased innovation and speed.
The teams within this unit develop state-of-the-art Interior and Exterior solution/systems. Interior Systems/Solutions in vehicles, include Instrument & Door Panels, Tunnel Console, Switches & Displays together with unique premium Seating Experience and world leading Interior Safety Systems. The Exterior Systems/Solutions development include mechatronic systems such as Exterior Lighting including Headlamps, Rear lamps and CHMSL, Wiper, Washer, Sensor Cleaning and Rear-View Systems.
The Vehicle Tophat unit is located at Gothenburg and Shanghai. The department is a supporting organization within Vehicle Tophat, with the purpose to provide the infrastructure for other teams to Integrate, Test, and Release SW in a Continuous Integration Flow. The infrastructure includes development and maintenance of Hardware-in-Loop setups for enabling Development, Verification and Validation of Software Oriented products, building a robust and Automated Test Framework, and enabling SW test & release in a CI flow.
We are looking for the future team member to build, develop and maintain the CI Infrastructure that are intended for Software Functionality Verification on Embedded Systems
The embedded test setups are built around the above-mentioned computer-in-the-car architecture. These setups are a combination of simulated vehicle components and real hardware components to emulate a real vehicle with all the relevant dynamics. The team(s) are responsible for the development and maintenance of these embedded setups (hardware-in-loop), while making sure that these setups are capable to execute relevant test cases for platform, software, and function verification. These are state-of-the art test setups, critical for testing software before the final product is launched. Hence, you will be working in a fast paced, innovative environment, solving problems and challenges daily.
Company offers you to work in a small cross functional team, with high focus on quality and continuous improvements. Together with your colleagues, you will develop and maintain the CI Flow that enables SW Integration, SW Deployment and Software Verification with relevant verdicts being published. You will be working with Software Integration and Deployment on core computer and embedded GPUs, and enable test automation, to ensure a high test coverage in the CI Flow.
WHO ARE YOU?
You will fit well in this role if you are a Embedded Systems Engineer with background in enabling testing of Embedded Systems (software and hardware) by developing test tools to validate and verify in a V-cycle
