About Us:

We are developing an internal AI tool designed to enhance efficiency across our operations, engineering, and commercial departments. Powered by Gemini and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), our system leverages cutting-edge AI to streamline processes and drive innovation. Our infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a Python-based backend and a frontend built using open-webui.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our team in central Stockholm. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and evolving our AI systems, ensuring the backend is robust, and managing the training and performance of our models. You will also work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with our frontend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the Python-based backend for the AI system.
• Oversee the training and tuning of models to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement and refine Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to integrate and optimize open-webui interfaces.
• Monitor and optimize system performance on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Datadog.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in Python for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and related AI techniques.
• Expertise in model training pipelines and deployment.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
• Experience with open-webui or similar frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of TypeScript and frontend development (preferred but not required).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
