Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop robust Java-based software applications and related tests to enhance user experience and vehicle availability.
• Collaborate closely with team members and other dependent teams, such as Frontend, to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Propose and implement technical solutions that align with business needs, user flows, and architectural guidelines.
• Design, deploy, operate, and maintain applications while driving continuous improvement in quality, functionality, and cost efficiency.
• Apply DevOps practices by owning the full development lifecycle, including production deployment and monitoring.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new services using SpringBoot applications on AWS infrastructure.

What you bring:

• A team-oriented mindset with a focus on inclusivity, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with significant experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in Java 11+ and SpringBoot frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and server/cloud-based infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• A valid work permit for Sweden or EU citizenship.
• Bonus skills: Experience with REST, JMS, PostgreSQL, Liquibase, asynchronous programming, Docker, Git, microservice architecture, AWS cloud services, and test automation frameworks.
