Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Group Design Leader – Battery Enclosure HW Systems to join our dynamic team.
What you will do:
- Lead the design and development of battery enclosure parts and systems, managing a sub-team and overseeing your assigned components.
- Coordinate time plans, track deliverables, report on progress, and manage issues effectively within a cross-functional environment.
- Maintain productive relationships with suppliers, manufacturing, and purchasing teams to ensure alignment on technical solutions, manufacturing, and assembly requirements.
- Participate in frequent technical discussions with suppliers and battery and vehicle plant teams, both virtually and through occasional travel to supplier and vehicle plant sites.
- Tackle technical challenges with an innovative mindset, developing new solutions from scratch and leading your team toward successful project outcomes.

- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Technical education at the university level or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of engineering experience within the automotive industry.
- Leadership experience, ideally managing a sub-team in an engineering capacity.
- Familiarity with Teamcenter and other Part Management tools (such as VPC, KDP, Pecca).
- Experience in electrical systems design or mechanical part development, including aluminum extrusions, HPDC, die casting, and sheet metal forming; CATIA design experience is a plus.
- Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and collaborating on complex technical challenges.
