Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Software Manager (R&D Department) to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Lead and manage complex software development projects within the R&D department, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Engage in hands-on software implementation and development to stay connected with the technical aspects of projects
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams such as developers, testers, application scientists, and product managers to drive innovation
- Collaborate closely with development teams to gain an in-depth understanding of products, ensuring continuous improvement and enhancement
- Manage and support DevOps processes, including continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices to streamline development workflows
What you bring:
- 10+ years of experience in software management, ideally within a high-tech or software-driven industry
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing diverse teams and complex projects to meet timelines and quality standards
- Strong technical foundation with hands-on programming expertise in:
- DevOps practices (experience with Azure DevOps is a plus)
- Git for version control, CI/CD pipelines
- .NET (C#) for software development
- Desktop UI development using the MVVM pattern (experience with WPF is a plus)
- ORM (Entity Framework Core)
- Additional experience with firmware development (C/C++, STM32) is desirable
- Knowledge of regulatory software requirements within the pharmaceutical and medtech industries
- Experience in designing and managing distributed software systems
