Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Manager to join our dynamic team.
What You Will Work On:
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies that ensure data quality and security across the organization.
- Collaborate with information owners and provide support to promote high data integrity and consistent data standards.
- Monitor data quality, establishing controls and validation processes to maintain high standards of correctness, timeliness, and consistency.
- Document and manage the organization’s data catalog and metadata, maintaining transparency and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of data governance principles and practices within the organization.
- Advocate for and communicate the value of data governance to stakeholders and management, fostering a data-driven culture.
What You Bring:
- Proven knowledge and experience in data management, particularly with frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK, and practical implementation of data governance frameworks.
- Strong competence in data standardization, information modeling, and policy development.
- Technical skills in database management, data architecture, and experience with data quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra, Talend).
- Proficiency in metadata management and data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with a background in change management to drive data governance initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and solve data quality challenges.
- Experience in the real estate industry or similar, with an understanding of data needs within this context.
- Previous experience in data-centric roles such as Data Quality Manager or Data Governance Manager, with a talent for promoting data-driven decision-making across teams.
- Fluent in English and Swedish.
