Culture, change, and collaboration are vital fundamentals at our company. About the role We seek a Strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts with Swedish Volvo retailers. You’ll develop and execute strategies to enhance Volvo Cars’ brand and drive sales through our retail network. Collaborate with sales teams and retail partners to create impactful marketing campaigns and a coherent brand presence in Sweden. You’ll be a part of an experienced team of 9 and report to Head of Marketing at Volvo Car Sverige.   What you will do In this role, you will take the helm of strategic planning for Swedish retail marketing, acting as the driving force behind our retail marketing agenda. You will ensure that local commercial needs are seamlessly integrated into our global strategies as well as a coherent brand, messaging, and customer experience across all communication touchpoints that is aligned with our national brand and marketing strategy. You will be responsible for defining and formalizing processes, with the goal of efficient and cohesive operations as well as alignment of tactical execution and long-term objectives. You will align with relevant stakeholders to improve collaboration and streamline common touchpoints related to retailers. Your role will serve as the primary point of contact for retailer marketing requests and relations, ensuring our marketing efforts throughout the whole customer journey. You will manage and host retailer reference groups and quarterly information meetings, provide support and training, as well as follow up on the planning and implementation of retailer marketing activations. Ensuring that retailers use the provided materials, and that national marketing is executed at the retailer level will be key to your success. Additionally, you will measure and follow up on the effectiveness of retailers’ marketing activations and campaigns, managing the funding for these activities. Who you are •    Experience in strategic marketing, preferably in the automotive industry. •    Knowledge of the modern media landscape and Swedish market dynamics. •    Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills. •    Ability to engage and support retailer networks, maintaining consistent information flow. •    Expertise in omni-channel and in-store communication. •    Experience in collaboration, stakeholder, and change management. •    Creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills in English and Swedish.
