About this opportunity:
Ericsson SAN Lab Operations have a strategy to transform the infrastructure service delivery in global standardized ICT environments based on software defined automated services with the aim to enable consumption of services through either a portal or application programming interface (API). This would enable further automation in the consumers’ organizations, mainly the different R&D units within Ericsson.
The new person will be a regular team member within the A&O unit. He/she is expected to be a senior experienced person, with at least 6 years of experience in software engineering in the context of automation of infrastructure consumption services. Strong preference will go to anyone with additional network and/or network security operations, as well as in systems engineering in any part of the Information & Communications Technology (ICT) domain. The achievements track for the person will also be considered.
What you will do:
• Drive the User Experience aspects for the framework and associated services/functionalities from a requirement and quality assurance perspective in close collaboration between the teams, Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Service descriptions, including frontend, backend flows and input forms.
• High level systems architecture design
• Software architecture design and maintenance
• Code development (analysis, code, testing and documentation) for service delivery automation with focus on systems integration.
• Lead the implementation phase, from the system architecture design outcome, lead software architecture design for the new automation, and support updates to the development ecosystem (development environment, development support tools…).
• Lead assignments together with other architects to ensure long term sustainability for the A&O software, and end-to-end architectural software consistency and integration.
• Follow a requirement-based approach and architectural system design.
• Apply requirements engineering’s best practices during system design and aligning to Ericsson’s requirements engineering processes.
