This is an opportunity to be involved and influence some of the most exciting projects in infrastructure in Sweden and across the Nordic region. You will have the chance to contribute to the development of our urban water and utilities segment to the next level. You will be leading one, of two, team of talented specialist and expand the team to strengthen our value proposition to our clients. To give some examples the team is engaged in a diverse range of significant projects for various types of clients, including the design of water and wastewater systems, utility infrastructure initiatives, and stormwater management solutions.
Together with the other Head of Discpline within Urban Water and Utilities your most important responsibility will be to lead, develop, and engage the team of specialists located in Stockholm, Gothenburg. There are also colleagues in Poland that are included in resource management responsibilities. Operations will be driven mainly by digital and distance management but some traveling between offices will be necessary for site visits with employees and meetings.
Your key activities will be:
• Execute on the department action plan and the strategy within your discipline
• Provide technical project leadership on projects e.g. act as discipline lead / senior specialist in projects
• Day-to-day people management, recruitment and onboarding activities
• Lead/support project teams for the undertaking of projects
• Manage short term staffing and provide input to strategic staff workforce planning
• Setting clear targets and provide the foundation for performance and individual development of your employees
• Be active in client relations, market activities and strategic development

• Relevant academic education such as MSc. or BSc. in civil engineering or similar.
• Relevant work experience corresponding to the work tasks described above.
• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English. English is used as the everyday language within Urban Water and Utilities.
